1930's Automobile Association Car Badge

Chrome plated brass British Automobile Association car badge dating from the mid 1930's (dated from serial no.). This example is the medium sized version.

This badge style was used from 1911 when the A.A. amalgamated with another motoring organisation, "The Motor Union". This design is a combination of the two associations' logos. It was used until 1945 when it was superseded by an updated design.

Length : 124mm. Good condition (some wear & tear).
