Scarce 1938 Welsh Rally Competitor's Route Book

Scarce, original route book which was carried by competitors of the South Wales Automobile Club's Welsh Motor Rally This event held between the 20th & 23rd July 1938.

This paper back book contains four pages, the cover bears the following information which explains it's purpose : "This Route Book must be carried throughout the journey. It must be handed to all Control Officers for their signature and stamp. It must also be signed by the Drivers and Passengers at each Control.  At each Check it-must be handed to the Official who will stamp it. On arrival at Cardiff, it must be handed to a Checking Officer at the Final Control.". Dimensions : 247mm x 152mm. Very good, unused condition (contains one stamp, but no details have been written in it - some discoloration to cover).
