West Hants & Dorset Car Club Car Badge. 1940s

Chrome plated brass car badge made for members of the West Hants & Dorset Car Club. Most likely dating from the late 1940s.
This badge is chrome plated, is decorated in it's original green and black paint and bears an in image of an early racing car surrounded by the club's initials, "W.H.D.C.C.". Width : 68mm. Good condition (some wear to paint).
The W.H.D.C.C. was a motor sport club which was formed in 1932.
