15ct Gold "Goodyear" 15 Year Long Service Lapel Badge

Nice quality, vintage, solid 15ct gold "Fifteen Year" long service lapel badge (pin) made for and presented by the Goodyear Tyre & Rubber Co. Scarce, British made version. 15ct was a British gold standard which was used between 1854 and 1931.
This small badge bears the image of the Goodyear winged shoe logo in front of the letters "XV" (Roman numerals for the number 15). The background is decorated with blue enamel. Made in the U.K. Back stamped with the British gold mark, "15ct", a serial number and the maker's mark, "M&S". Diameter : 15.5mm. Very good condition.
