Sorna "Jacky Ickx - Easy Rider" Chronograph Wrist Watch (Red Dial). 1970s

Unused "Easy Rider" bullhead style chronograph wrist watch manufactured during the 1970s by Sorna and named after the Belgian Formula 1 racing driver, "Jacky Ickx". Like the highly sought after "Jacky Ickx - Easy Rider" chronograph manufactured in the early 1970s by Heuer-Leonidas, this Sorna version was also made with the same licenced endorsement and has the identical manual wind 17 jewel movement (EB 8420).
Black anodized metal case with gold plated fittings, a stainless steel back (bearing the Sorna crest) and a black rubber "Tropic" strap. Length of case : 42mm. Case condition ; 100%.
Red dial with a black outer chapter ring, black chronograph registers and a date at 12 o'clock. Dial signed, "Jacky Ickx - Easy Rider" and with a facsimile of his signature. The chronograph starts, stops and resets by pressing the buttons mounted on the top of the case. Dial condition : 100%.
Swiss made, nickel plated, 17 jewel chronograph movement. Signed, "Sorna Watch SA" (calibre EB 8420). Movement condition : 100%. Good working order
