British Parachute Regiment Car Badge

Chrome plated brass and enamel car badge made for members (and veterans) of the British Parachute Regiment. Dating from the 1950's.
This pressed brass badge is chrome plated, bears the image of St. Christopher (the patron saint of travellers) and the caption, "Behold St. Christopher Then Go Your Way In Safety". Below is an applied circular plaque which is decorated in red and blue enamel (the regimental colours) and the image of the badge of the Parachute Regiment. Length : 96mm. Good condition (some wear to plating).
