Early Car Mascot - Tennis Playing Cherub. c.1910

Very attractive early car mascot in the form of a cherub playing tennis. Dating from around 1910.
This unsigned mascot is made from nickel plated brass. The winged cherub is leaning back holding a tennis ball in one hand and an early tennis racket in the other. It is currently mounted onto a black painted wooden base. Overall height of mascot (not including base) : 128mm. Good condition (some wear to plating).
A desirable mascot appealing to both motoring and tennis collectors.
