"Dinky Toys" Die Cast Talbot-Lago Racing Car. c.1953

Miniature diecast model of a Talbot-Lago racing car made in England around 1953 by Meccano Ltd., as part of their "Dinky Toys" series (No. 23K).

This model is still fitted with it's original tyres and is decorated with it's original paint work, and transfer racing numbers. Good condition (no damage, some wear to paint (mainly on driver's head) and wear to transfers). Length : 103mm.

This model is based on racing cars built by the Talbot-Lago Company in 1948. They were raced for the works team between 1948 and 1951 by famous drivers such as Louis Chiron  and Philippe Etancelin.
