Early Bronze Motoring Medal (Automobile Club of Antwerp) 1913

Nice quality, early bronze motoring medal issued by the Automobile Club of Antwerp. Dated 1913.
The front shows a goddess behind the wheel of a veteran car holding a torch, perched on the bonnet (hood) is an eagle with it's wings spread. The medal is signed by the sculptor, "Baetes". The reverse bears the following inscription, "Automobile-Club Anversois - Medaille De 3e Classe - Decernee A Mr. E. Gibens - Chauffeurau Service Du Meme Proprietaire Depuis Au Moins 5 Annees - 1913" which roughly translates as "Automobile Club of Antwerp - 3rd Class Medal - Decreed with Mr. E. Gibens driver with the service of the same owner for at least 5 years - 1913". Nice condition (slight patch of wear to reverse). Width : 65mm.
