"Dinky Toys" Die Cast Cooper-Bristol Racing Car. c.1952

Miniature diecast model of an Cooper-Bristol racing car made in England around 1952 by Meccano Ltd., as part of their "Dinky Toys" series (No. 233).
This model is still fitted with it's original tyres and is decorated with it's original paint work, and transfer racing numbers. Good condition (no damage, some wear to paint (mainly on driver's head) and transfers). Length : 89mm.
This model is based on racing cars built by the Cooper Car Company in 1951. They were fitted with Bristol engines, raced in the Formula 3 category and were driven by Mike Hawthorn and Harry Schell.
