Early "Zurich Insurance" Advertising St. Christopher Plaque. c.1910

Very nice, early, silver plated dashboard mounted St. Christopher plaque. Made as an advertising piece for Zurich Insurance around 1910.
This very attractive plaque is decorated with the image of a goddess sitting against a shield bearing the Swiss cross, holding a scroll with the caption, "Assurances Contre Les Accidents" (Accident Insurance). In the background is the image of St. Christopher and an early racing car speeding down a mountain road. At the top is the caption, "Offert Par La Cie Zurich" (Offered By The Zurich Company). Signed by the sculptor, "F. P. Lasserre". Overall width (including fastening lugs) : 70.5mm. Nice condition (slight wear to plating).
