Player's "Motor Cars" Cigarette Card Set (Series 2) 1937

Two very nice complete sets of cigarette cards produced by John Player & Sons (Imperial Tobacco Co.) entitled "Motor Cars" (Series 1 & 2). Mounted into their original albums, these cards date from 1936 & 1937.

Each volume contain 50 colourful cards depicting the most popular cars of the time including tourers, sports & racing cars. Some of these include : Mercedes, Bugatti, M.G., Bentley, Auto Union, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Alfa Romeo, E.R.A., Auburn, Delage, Cord, Maserati, etc.. Each volume measures : 186mm x 126mm, and gives descriptions of each car shown. Each individual card measures : 67mm x 36mm. Albums in good, sound condition (some aging/soiling), all cards in nice condition.
