Sterling & Enamel Lapel Badge - BOAC International 500 Race. 1967

Good quality, sterling silver & enamel lapel badge (pin) made for the BOAC (British Overseas Airline Corporation) sponsored "International 500" sports car race held at Brands Hatch motor racing circuit, Kent, England on the 30th July 1967.
This heavy sterling silver badge is mounted on a brooch pin and it's reverse is stamped with the maker's mark, "TNP" and with a full English sterling silver hallmark corresponding to the year 1967. Length : 35.5mm. Very good condition.
This race was the 5th round of the 1967 Royal Automobile Club Sports Car Championship and was won by Phil Hill. Many top drivers took part, such as Jackie Stewart, Jo Siffert, Bruce McLaren, Jackie Oliver, Jochen Rindt, John Surtees, Jack Brabham & Graham Hill.
