Quality "Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse" Car Badge. 1930's

Nice quality, brass and enamel car badge made as a souvenir of the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse (Grossglockner High Alpine Road). Most likely dating from the late 1930's.

This very attractive badge is decorated in five colour enamels and bears the image of a vintage car with snow covered mountains in the background. Length : 81mm. Good condition (a couple of minor chips to enamel on edge).

The Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse was completed in 1936 and runs through the Austrian Alps.
