"Dinky Toys" Diecast Mercedes W196 Racing Car. c.1957

Miniature diecast model of an Mercedes W196 "Streamliner" racing car made in England around 1957 by Meccano Ltd., as part of their "Dinky Toys" series (No. 237).
This model is still fitted with it's original tyres and is decorated with it's original gloss white and silver paint work, and red transfer racing numbers. Good condition (no damage, slight wear to paint). Length : 98mm.
The Mercedes W196 "Streamliner" was based on the W196 open wheel version. It was driven in 1954 season by Juan-Michel Fangio and Karl Kling.
