Royal Tank Corps Car Badge. 1940's

Good quality, chrome plated and enamel Royal Tank Corps car badge made by the London based badge makers, "J. R. Gaunt". Most likely dating from the 1940's.

Mounted in the centre of this two piece badge is a circular enamel panel decorated with the regimental colours of the Royal Tanks Corps and on top of this is the Corps' emblem. Surrounding this is a laurel wreath and above is the King's crown. Overall length : 142mm. Good condition.
