3 x Rare Original W.W.II. Supermarine Spitfire Blueprints

3 x original blueprints from "Vickers Armstrongs Ltd. - Supermarine Works" relating to the Spitfire Mk.XVIII "F" & "FR" (Fighter & Fighter Reconnaissance) versions. Dating from between 17th January & 5th April 1945.

Supermarine Spitfire Blueprint No.1

Company :  Vickers Armstrongs Ltd. - Supermarine Works

Title : Arrangement of Fuselage Plating (Spitfire FR Mk.XVIII) 

Original Date : 18/11/44

Last Modification Date :  17/1/45

Dimensions : 1325mm x 765mm

Description :  Shows detailed plans of Spitfire Mk.XVIII fuselage also gives general notes for riveting, riveting schedule and instructions for countersinking.

Condition :  Good condition (folded, original pencil notes, some minor tears to edges, slight yellowing to paper through age).

Supermarine Spitfire Blueprint No.2

Title : G A of Wing Starb. (Spitfire Mk.XVIII)

Description :  Shows detailed plans for general assembly of Spitfire Mk.XVIII starboard wing including notes for "F" & "FR" versions (with and without camera heating ducts).

Condition :  Good condition (folded, original pencil notes, some minor tears to edges, slight yellowing to paper through age).

Description :  Shows detailed plans for  Spitfire camouflage scheme, detailing different versions for prototype aircraft and those with standard and clipped wings.

Condition :  Nice condition (folded, original pencil notes, some minor tears to edges and centres of folds, slight yellowing to paper through age).
