Original W.W.II. period Royal Air Force Liberator bomber manual entitled, "Handbook of Erection & Maintenance for The Consolidated LB-30 Liberator II Bombardment Aircraft". Published by the manufacturer "Consolidated Aircraft Corp., San Diego, California", and dated April 15 1941.
A comprehensive manual which covers all aspects of the erection and maintenance of this aircraft. Contains 228 pages of instructions and illustrations. Dimensions : 290mm x 235mm. Some wear and tear to cover, contents complete, both binding and pages in good condition.
The "LB-30 Liberator II" was specially built for the RAF to their specific requirements. One of the main differences from the standard "B-24" Liberator was that the "LB-30" had a three foot longer nose section. Only 140 LB-30 Liberator II's were built, which means this is a very rare manual.
