Air League of the British Empire Lapel Badge. 1930s

Original silver plate and enamel lapel badge made for supporters of the Air League of the British Empire. Dating from the 1930s.

This badge was manufactured by the "J R Gaunt, London" and is in the later form of the Air League's logo. Width : 32mm. Nice condition.

The Air League of the British Empire was established in 1909 to further the cause of aviation in Britain. The organization sill exists today.
