W.W.I. Period Silver & Enamel French Aeroplane Brooch

Beautiful, rare, early W.W.I. period sterling silver & enamel French aeroplane brooch

This nice quality brooch is made from solid sterling silver and is decorated with multicoloured enamel. The wings are decorated with French Air Service roundels. The reverse is mounted on a brooch pin and is stamped, "Sterling". Overall length : 34mm. Good condition (a minor surface chip in edge of wing).
