W.W.II. Period "Spitfire Fund" Lapel Badges

Genuine W.W.II. period "Spitfire Fund" lapel badge. These badges were given to persons who made donations towards the various funds which were organised to raise money to build Spitfire aircraft.

This gilded badge is cast from a Mazac type alloy in the form of a Spitfire fighter and has a button hole fastening mounted on it's reverse. Wingspan : 34mm. Good condition.
