Set of ten enamelled pins in the form of the emblems of W.W.II. Luftwaffe fighter units.

These high quality German made pins are decorated in multicolored enamels and are made in the form of the emblems of W.W.II. Luftwaffe fighter units. They were supposedly manufactured in a limited quality during the 1970's to be sold to members of the "old comrades" associations. The pins represent the following units :

Eight of the lapel badges are mounted on stick pins, the other two on brooch pins. The set comes with a good quality display case and individual leaflets listing details of unit commanders and aircraft (appear to be later additions). Dimensions of case (closed) : 208mm x 145mm. Very good condition.
