W.W.I. Period Royal Flying Corps Propeller Boss Clock

Very nice W.W.I. period clock made from a Royal Flying Corps aircraft propeller.

This clock has been made using a boss of a W.W.I. mahogany propeller which has been nicely inlaid with other types of wood. Mounted on the top is a stylised pair of Royal Flying Corps pilot's wings which have been hand carved from a solid piece of wood. In the centre is a good quality Swiss made dashboard clock (positively identified as being manufactured by Jaeger) which is fixed using a custom made brass mount. This the clock can be removed by pressing a sprung-loaded button on the side of the mount then giving it a quarter turn to the left. Overall height : 285mm. Good condition. Working order.
