Genuine, German, gilt stick pin decorated with a Heinkel He 72 biplane.

This pin is made from a gilded metal alloy and it is believed that it was made to commemorate a flying meeting held in Silesia (a one-time province Germany) in 1937. The centre is decorated with an image of a Heinkel He 72 trainer biplane and around this is the inscription, "Schesien - Flug . 1937" (Silesia - Flight . 1937). Width : 43mm. Nice condition (slight wear to gilding).
