Condition :  Complete. Good condition (good sound binding, some wear and staining to cover, tear to cover (reinforced behind with tape), small tear to first two leaves, original owners name in pencil).

Comments:  This rare book was produced specially for the staff of Short Bros. (famous flying boat and seaplane manufacturers) to commemorate the visit of King George VI & Queen Elizabeth to their works in Rochester (Kent, England) on 14th March 1938. Contains numerous illustrations showing scenes from the royal visit. Also contains "a personal tribute by Griffith Brewer" detailing the history and achievement of the Short Bros.
