Comments:  Forward by Air Chief Marshal Sir Charles Portal. This book gives an account of life in the RAF during W.W.II.  Contains 40 sepia reproductions of Rothenstein's beautiful sketches of various members of the RAF including ACM Sir Charles Portal, ACM Sir Hugh Dowding, G/Cpt H. Broadhurst, F/O Guy Gibson and S/Ldr W. Whitney Straight (see above for complete list). This book originally belonged to F. Lieut. Bernard Brooks and contains pencil & ink notes giving his details and indicates which characters he has met along with dates and places.
